John signed a National Letter of Intent this past November with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. We played the highlights video only in our booth throughout the day. I lost track of the positive feed back. People would watch it then go get a friend and bring then back to watch it as well. I passed out all your flyers and told everyone how you all were great to work with. There were numerous people who said they were going to contact you about doing one of their events. Some even requested we make the video available on our website. The group I was with had two tables with a total of 15 people. The only one who knew I was connected in any way to the videos was my husband. Neither of us said anything to them. Eight of the individuals made comments such as "Wow, that was so inspiring that it makes me proud to be part of WSYSA", "It was so touching and full of special moments in the kids life's that it makes me tear up with emotion" , "makes me want to go play soccer", "That was awesome". Skillshow does a great job. I purchased it for my son at the PG National, figuring it would be a keepsake. When it arrived and we got the opportunity to sit and watch it, we were nothing short of amazed. One college coach was so impressed that it was done in "real time," he sat with a stop watch and started with the running segment, saw that his watch matched that of the video. He then went on to time "Pop Times" again, impressed.

Jake has been accepted to University of Redlands in Redlands, Calif. Even though he's a somewhat different ball player now than he was last June when the video was shot (modified stance/swing, 15 lbs heavier, 1-2 inches taller), the SkillShow video was instrumental in providing a quick and easy way for their coaching staff to see Jake in action and confirm their interest in him. Compared to the benefits of a great financial package and the opportunity for a quality education AND the chance to continue playing baseball, the cost of the SkillShow video was one of the best investments we made.
